Acceptable Use Policy

RemitLand has a zero tolerance policy for unlawful activities or purposes. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the activities, entities, and content that are prohibited when using RemitLand and the Services.
1. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Services for any activity that:
- breaches or is intended to breach any applicable local, national or international law, regulation or policy, or causes RemitLand to breach any applicable law, regulation or policy in any way
- is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect
- is for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm others, including minors in any way
- is in connection with any form of human trafficking or forced labor
- is abusive or incites hate, violence or sedition, or does not comply with our content standards
- is in connection with any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material or spam
- is in connection with harmful programs like viruses, spyware, or similar malicious code
- is designed or can be used to circumvent system controls, engage in deceptive or inauthentic user behavior, or misrepresent identity
- would illegally evade any applicable taxes, levies or duties or facilitate tax evasion
- uses our services in a manner likely to result in complaints, disputes, reversals, chargebacks or liabilities
- relates to foreign exchange speculation, investment or arbitrage activities
- is in connection with activities or services requiring a license where licensing requirements have not been met
Prohibited business categories include, without limitation: Adult Content & Related Services; Gambling Services & Games of Skill where illegal or without required permits; Illegal Drugs & Controlled Substances; Counterfeit or Unauthorized Goods; Weapons Manufacturing, Sales & Supplies; Payday & Predatory Lending; Hate Speech & Discrimination; Ponzi, Pyramid Scheme, Multi-Level Marketing, and Telemarketing; cash-intensive or unverifiable source-of-funds businesses; sale or trade of endangered species; sale or trade of illegal or unauthorized goods; offering regulated financial services without a valid license; and other businesses outside RemitLand's risk appetite.
2. Entities Ineligible for Services
- Sanctioned Parties subject to international sanctions
- Shell Banks without physical presence
- Shell Entities with no physical presence, employees, or commercial activity
- Trust and corporate service providers involved in offshore formation or nominee structures
- Unregistered charities
- Other categories outside RemitLand's risk appetite
3. Content Standards
Contributions must be accurate, be genuinely held where they state opinions, and comply with applicable law in Canada and any relevant country. Contributions must not contain defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, or inflammatory material; promote sexually explicit material, violence, or discrimination; infringe copyright, database right, or trademark; deceive any person; breach legal duties owed to third parties; promote illegal activity; harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy others; or impersonate any person or misrepresent identity.
4. Suspension and Termination
Failure to comply may result in: immediate, temporary, or permanent withdrawal of service access; suspension or cancellation of payment orders; removal of postings or uploaded material; issue of a warning; legal action including reimbursement of all costs; and reporting and disclosure to law enforcement authorities.
5. Changes to the Acceptable Use Policy
RemitLand may revise the Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Users must check the page regularly as it is legally binding.
